Certified trainers and coaches based in the USA or Canada with a valid ID, recognized certification and the ability to deliver safe, professional sessions in-home, at their studio, or virtually.

Can I bring my existing clients?

Yes, that's exactly what Group Fit is built for. Move your current clients onto the app to run your bookings, payments and messaging in one place. As a bonus, new customers searching in your area can also discover and book you.

Is there a sign-up fee?

No. Creating a profile is free. Group Fit only earns when you do, through a transparent commission on completed sessions.

How do session requests work?

Requests only land within the availability you set. You see the activity, time, customer and PAR-Q in one view, then confirm with one tap.

Can I block off time?

There's no separate block-off. If you're away, just delete the affected availability slots from your profile, it takes seconds, and add them back when you're available again.

What happens if a client cancels?

Cancellation rules follow the timing on the booking screen. Late cancellations and no-shows are handled per our policy so your time is respected. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for the most up-to-date cancellation rules.

Can I run sessions in multiple cities?

Yes. Set different service areas and availability per day. The platform routes the right requests to you automatically.

Can I run sessions from my own studio or gym?

Yes. List your studio address and customers will see you when you're within their chosen travel range. You don't set a radius for studio sessions, customers pick how far they're willing to travel.

How and when do I get paid?

Payouts are handled by Stripe and deposited directly to your bank account. When you create your profile, you'll receive instructions to set up your Stripe account.

How do I set up my Stripe Connect account?

Once your profile is approved, we'll email you a secure link to set up your Stripe Connect account. All Group Fit commissions are paid through Stripe Connect, directly to your Canadian bank account in CAD. Do I need to handle taxes?

Yes. As an independent contractor, you're responsible for your own tax filings. We provide earnings summaries to make it easier.

Do I need my own insurance?

Insurance isn't required by Group Fit, but we strongly recommend personal training liability coverage. We don't recommend specific providers, choose what works for you. If you do have a policy, add the details to your profile and we'll show an insured badge to customers.

How do I enable insurance billing?

If you're a trainer or therapist eligible to bill insurance, toggle Insurance billing on from your profile. An Insurance billing badge will appear on your public profile and customers filtering for insurance-eligible providers can find and book you. In-person sessions only.

Which insurers do you support?

We don't maintain a list of supported insurers. When a customer books you with insurance billing, you'll receive their insurance details with the booking request. Verify the coverage with the insurer yourself, then accept or reject the booking.

What about PAR-Q and health info?

Every customer fills out a PAR-Q. You see the relevant context for the sessions you're running, with privacy protections in place.

What if a client behaves inappropriately?
