FAQ
Kickboxing questions, answered.
Is kickboxing good for beginners?
Yes. Coaches start with stance, basic punches and the roundhouse kick, and scale the pace and intensity to your fitness.
How is kickboxing different from Muay Thai?
Kickboxing focuses on punches and kicks. Muay Thai adds elbows, knees and clinch work. Both build striking skill and conditioning.
Do I need my own gear?
Hand wraps and gloves are recommended. Shin guards are only needed for sparring. Ask your coach when you book; many bring spare gear.
How much does a kickboxing session cost?
Sessions start from $30 (USD in the USA, CAD in Canada). Each coach sets their own price, and multi-session packs save up to 25%. Your first session with any coach is free with code FREE.
Where do kickboxing sessions take place?
Wherever suits you: at your home, condo gym or a local park, at the coach's studio, or live over video. Each coach lists what they offer. Enter your address in the app to see who is available near you.
